Description
Your room is large, fresh and spacious, enough to accommodate a wardrobe and a study desk if you need it. There is plenty of light through the window which looks out onto a communal garden. And you have read the whole add!
Except for gas and electricity, bills are included. I prefer to live with someone who does not work from home, doesn't need the heating on in the night and cares about the environment ( so I can keep the heating bill down!) . If you are a keen cook, the kitchen is small but well equipped with a range of gadgets and utensils.
The living room is a hub of activity, which you are welcome to join in on. Like your bedroom, it is filled with light and looks onto the communal garden.
You will be sharing the flat with a regular 14 year old teenager (my son) and me. I am a Design Technology /Food teacher with a passion for music, food, design and art. Environmentally conscious, LGBT friendly, leaning to the left in my politics and open minded, I hope. Non drinking, non smoking, no drugs. But I can still laugh and dance badly. Not overly serious or intense. We are looking for a working professional over 35, to join our home who enjoys sharing spaces/conversations with others, but is also independent and has their own social circle. If you can't pay the deposit or need me to cut back on the rent I am really sorry but I cannot offer my room to you. ( Spot the scars on the landlady!)
Interviews are between q2th and 14th Sept. You could move in after that.
We are 5 mins from Hackney Downs Park which is lovely; 10 minutes from public transport links; 10-15 mins way from local bars, music venues, an awesome lido, shops. Really this area has everything!
You need to be a professional, key workers especially welcome. References and identification documents will be required. Interviews will be between 5th and 7th Sept
