Sunny double bedroom in a beautiful home

Your room is large, fresh and spacious, enough to accommodate a wardrobe and a study desk if you need it. There is plenty of light through the window which looks out onto a communal garden.

If you are a keen cook, the kitchen is well equipped with a range of gadgets and utensils.

The living room is a hub of activity, which you are welcome to join in on. Like your bedroom, it is filled with light and looks onto the communal garden.

You will be sharing the flat with a regular 13 year old teenager (my son) and myself. I am a Design Technology /Food teacher with a passion for music, food, design and art. Environmentally conscious, LGBT friendly, leaning to the left in my politics and open minded, I hope. Not overly serious or intense. We are looking for someone to join our home who enjoys sharing spaces/conversations with others, but is also independent and has their own social circle.

There is a strong sense of community in the local neighbourhood- many of the people that you might see from day to day are friendly and supportive of each other.

We are 5 mins from Hackney Downs Park which is lovely; 10 minutes from public transport links; 10-15 mins way from local bars, music venues, an awesome lido, shops. Really this area has everything!
