I’m incredibly sad to be leaving this flat as it is an absolute steal, but work commitments are unfortunately forcing me to leave London for the foreseeable and relocate back to Scotland. Lease has been recently renewed so the room is available until at least August 2025, with possibility to extend. Landlord is super chill and hasn’t raised rent in years, so it’s a sweet 650/month, with bills and council tax working out about 100-150 a month each. Flat is a 10 minute walk from Hackney Central, 15 minutes from Hackney Downs, and multiple bus routes pass by just outside.

You’d be living with two guys, Talha (27) and Tareic (29). Tareic works in the music industry with emerging artists, and is taking a sabbatical to study music management. Talha just completed his thesis, and is currently working in data science. Looking for a clean, chilled flatmate who’s happy to socialise once in a while whilst also respecting everyone’s space. The guys socialise when they can, but also live their own lives outside of the flat.

The room is available from 15th October. You'd be signing on to take my place on the current lease, which will terminate on the 14th August 2025, so need someone who's looking to move in long term. No short lets. Room comes with bed and bedside table.
