Nov Sublet @ Queer House in Homerton / Clapton

Looking to sublet our double bedroom in a friendly queer house share in Homerton - East London for November 7th - 30th but dates have some wiggle room if you wanted to move in at the start of Nov.

The house is a cute Victorian 4 bed on a quiet street in Homerton with a large kitchen/dining room (filled with more cooking equipment and spices than you’ll ever need) that’s great for hanging out + having people over, and there’s an additional cozy living room with a big tv plus upstairs bathroom.

Location

We’re a 7 minute walk from Homerton station and there are local pubs/shops and Chatsworth Road Market on the weekends if that’s your vibe.

The room itself is a double furnished room. With a bed, desk and some storage space. Our current housemate is moving out early and so this is to fill for those 3+ weeks until our contract ends. There is a possibility of renewing the contract for another year / possibly shorter, but you will need to find people to fill the other rooms from December onwards (1 existing housemate considering this)

The Housemates

You will be sharing the house with our other housemates, Stu, Alice and Joe + Dan (3 He/Him's , 1 They/She ). We’re all queer, so as you can imagine we’re a very queer friendly house.

All work full time (designers and marketing) so things are pretty chill in the week bar the odd trip to the pub/dinner/movie night. We’re a very social bunch though, so on weekends, we do like to go out to galleries/parties and have people over and get the speakers out in the kitchen. That being said, we are respectful of each other all the time and so won’t have people over too late after hours if this will cause any discomfort/noise.

Other house interests include: music, design, food, fashion, film, festivals, art, psychology, games. This will be perfect if you want to make some friends while subletting and get to know people/get around east london but also if you’d rather keep to yourself and do your own thing this will also be fine, as long as you’re nice and respectful to our fellow housemates and our room.
