Hiya, I’m looking for a flatmate from mid-January for a large double room, just a 10-minute walk from Hackney Central and opposite Lower Clapton GP practice. The flat is a two-bed on the second floor of a new development built in 2018 and will be fully furnished. It’s a comfortable space with all the necessary kitchen appliances (pans, pots, kettle, microwave, cutlery, and plates). The building also have bike storage right upon entry which makes it extremely convenient set up to cycle to work.

You’d be sharing with me, Anna. I've lived in London for 10 years. I work full-time in design and tech, splitting my time between the office (three days a week) and working from home (two days a week). I’m happy to arrange a schedule with other hybrid workers to ensure we each have space during WFH days. Open to socialising and sharing dinners with whoever moves in but I'm equally have a busy social life outside of the flat.

Outside of work, I enjoy going on hikes, keeping fit at the local gym, and hosting friends for the occasional drinks evening (usually no more than once a month). On some weekends, I work remotely from my parent’s place.

The flat is conveniently located: just 2 minutes from the nearest off-licence, a 5-minute walk to Sainsbury’s, and a 12-minute walk to Hackney Central. A new GP practice opened across the road. There is also a number of restaurants, coffee shops, hairdressers and dry cleaners which makes it very convenient to live.

The rent is £1,100 per month (all bills included), with a one-month deposit required. I’m looking for a respectful and tidy full-time professional who values a peaceful living space to relax after work or at the weekends. Guests are welcome with notice and within reasonable limits.
