Sunny double in Haggerston :)

Hey hey,

We’re Jules, Emma and Laura and are looking for a new housemate to fill a large double room in our sunny Haggerston house. There’s 2 bathrooms, a sizeable garden, lots of storage and a bright living room / kitchen. The room comes with a bed, clothing rail and drawers + optional desk if you want it.

The flat is in an ideal location, just 3 minutes walk from Haggerston station and right next to bus stops providing easy access to the rest of the city. We’re close by to London fields and Dalston Junction and there are plenty of cafes, bars and shops minutes from the door.

You’ll be sharing with Jules (they/them), a 3D printing technician, Emma (she/her) an A&E nurse, and Laura (she/her) who works in audio installation. The current household age range is 27-32. We’re looking for someone chill who’s down for the occasional pint in one of the many nearby locals, but who also values having their own space and respects others space too. We sometimes eat together (plenty of amazing takeaways nearby!), we have a bbq in the garden which is great for hosting in the summer but we’re mostly quite busy people and are out and about more often than not. The room would probably suit someone of a similar vibe! We’re all very clean and respectful of communal spaces too.

All bills (council tax, wifi etc) come to about £100 a month on top of rent, which currently includes a weekly cleaner. We rent from an agency and are currently midway through a contract, and the room is available due to the current flatmate moving in with a partner. Because of this the room will essentially be a sublet until the contract renews in May, and we’re hoping to find someone looking to settle down and sign on with us for next year too.

Our rent payment date is the 23rd of each month, and the new tenant would have to start paying from Jan 23rd. There may be some flexibility with moving in earlier if needed.
