Double room in amazing location from 1st July

Hi,

Pat is unfortunately moving out after 1.5 years because he is going travelling. Therefore we’re looking for someone take over his room and sign on to our lease renewal from 1st July at £825 per month.

The room is a small double that comes semi-furnished with the bedframe and mattress. It is decently sized with enough space for a desk, clothes rack and chest of drawers. Pat will be leaving the majority of the furniture and is happy to pass along to the next tenant at a minimal cost if you would like to keep anything.

The flat itself is 3 bedroom, 1bathroom, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and a garden accessible through one of the rooms. We also have bike storage at the front of the flat if you cycle. Bills usually land between 100-110 a month and we deal with the landlord directly.

We are located in a sweet spot. <5 min walk to Hackney Downs Station and Hackney Downs Park - so nice in the Summer, and great to be near nature in the Winter. Hackney Central and Dalston is also <15 min walk away. There’s a small Tescos less than 5 min walk and a big Tescos, M&S and Sainsbury within 15 minutes walk too. It’s really well connected and there’s plenty of great pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes around.

You'll be sharing with Casey (M, 25, English & 🏳️‍🌈) working in legal tech and myself (Kayla, F, 28 and Australian) working in branding for a charity. We are looking for someone who is friendly, clean and considerate, and can add to the overall chilled vibe of the flat. We enjoy going out for a feed or the pub and having a Netflix night. While we have our own thing going on, we didn’t know each other previously and have all become good friends. We would like to live with someone social.

If you can’t make those dates, let us know what other times between 11–19 May work for you and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. If you can’t view by 20 May, please feel free to reach out anyway— we can keep you in mind in case we don’t come to a decision by then.
