42 - not just a door number, but also the answer to the ultimate question of life, the Universe, and Everything! Now that I have your attention, we have a fantastic en-suite double room, available in a spacious 4 bedroom townhouse in trendy Haggerston. Available from the end of September.

About the house: We have a four storey, four bedroom house with a fantastic living and dining / kitchen areas on the first floor of the building. The kitchen opens up onto a lovely terrace where all your BBQ dreams will come true. To add, there is also a roof terrace on the fourth floor which is the perfect place to unwind after a hard week's work. We are located just off Kingsland Road which is within a 10 minute walk to Shoreditch Park / Colombia Flower Market / Broadway Market / London Fields or a 10 / 20 minute tumble from Shoreditch high street depending on your enthusiasm for a tipple.

About the room: You’ll be in a large double bedroom with en-suite on the ground floor. The en-suite room is accessible off the main entrance lobby and is entirely self-contained on the ground floor, making it very private - almost like having your own flat but with the added perks of being able to pop upstairs when you feel like mingling with the house! The room comes with plenty of integrated storage - there is a large cupboard off the bathroom and a cupboard under the stairs. Technically, the room comes unfurnished; however I am looking to sell the bedroom and bathroom furniture for a very decent rate if interested!

About the flatmates (all mid to late 30's):
1. Our OG housemate Ash (who lives on the top floor) is a financial crime expert by day, punk rock lover by night. Always down for a beer or a gig. She is independent and extremely considerate.

2. Suzy, is our fabulous Aussie Lawyer, who joined the house in November last year. When she’s not learning how to play piano, or firing pottery - she’s usually on her European travel adventures! She’s is really lovely.

3. Our final housemate, Gemma, a Campaign Director, is also moving out for adventures new ! She’s heading to Auz for a new chapter after having been London based for 10years, and in the house for 5years. So if you are two people looking - this could also be an option ! (Ill post the ad for this too when available!)

The house has always sought a balance of bossing careers in the week, socializing at the weekends - and of course respecting that downtime in between.

The Why: I’m moving out essentially to move in with the boyfriend - otherwise it’s been 4years for me here and I will miss it very much ! Its been a big decision as I love it here - the location is great and the girls have become family.

We are looking to show the room(s) in the last week of July, targeting the beginning of August to start the referencing process leading hopefully then to a successful end of September move in / out. So if interested... drop us a line! We'll get in touch with suitable candidates around mid-July :).

If Successful: The letting agency will require a reference check so if you’re into super dodgy stuff like crypto, you might need to look elsewhere! Permanent work contracts only. Bills come to approx. £100-150 a month, and that includes a cleaner who comes once a fortnight (she's amazing!) There is a chance that the rent may adjust slightly with the resigning - but we will manage that nearer the time :)
