Hey, I’m Maria. I work in communications and on various interesting projects. When I’m not in the British Library, I’m usually writing, attempting to play in my band, reading, or again, attempting to maintain the weeds in the garden, or visiting friends!

There are independent cafés, bakeries, and the Chatsworth Road Sunday Market just around the corner. It’s also surrounded by Millfields Park, Hackney Marshes, and Walthamstow Marshes/Lea Valley.
The home is bright, cosy and a calm welcoming space to come back to after busy days. I’m queer and generally chilled out; this is the space where I like to decompress. I really value a relaxed, friendly, and considerate atmosphere, where everyone feels comfortable being themselves!
