Gorgeous room in calm top-floor, park-view flat

I’m on the search for a part-time, Monday to Friday flatmate in my top-floor, two-bed apartment, which overlooks Hackney Downs.

This could suit someone who lives outside London/visits regularly for work, and is tired of shuttling between hotels or Airbnbs and wants something more stable! Max 4 nights a week, Mon to Fri (£650-800/month), but happy to negotiate a rate that seems fair depending on circumstances.

The room is east facing and overlooks the garden, has gorgeous morning light (but thick blinds …) and a double futon-style bed with Simba memory foam mattress. The walls are covered with art and books, and there’s a desk you can work at too. And of course you're welcome to cook/relax/have the run of the flat while you’re staying here! There's also drawer/cupboard storage for clothes etc if you'd like.

About me — I’m a freelance culture journalist and podcast story editor (FT, NYT, BBC). During the day I work at a studio in Dalston, and am often out in the evenings too. It’d be great to meet someone friendly who's seeking a place to hang their hat while in town, and who loves the space as much as I do.
