Furnished, well-lit double bedroom in Hackney

I’m looking for someone to take over my furnished bedroom starting December 1st* in a 2br, 1bath lease in bethnal green/hackney! Unfortunately, as an American, my time in the UK has come to an end and I’m looking for a great match to move in with my best friend and take over my spot on the lease!

This is the best room in a perfect neighborhood, in walking distance to Broadway Market, Victoria Park, and Shoreditch and Hackney High Streets. We’re looking for someone with a similar dynamic

About the room:
- Well-lit room with large wardrobe, nightstand, and desk included
- Full-sized bed with leftover room for activities (I do yoga in my room all the time!)
- Under-bed space and basement storage
- £1395 per month for room and wifi (water, power, and council tax paid separately)

About additional bills:
- power, water, and council tax for Tower Hamlets, which end up being around £200 pp

About the flat:
- Outdoor garden and roof access
- Nice neighbors and community feeling in building
- Perfectly situated between shoreditch, bethnal green, and hackney
- 1 min walk to the 26/55 bus, 6 min walk to the overground, 10 min walk to the central line
- Laundry and large fridge

About us:
- 26 year old American women who have lived in the UK for almost two years now
- Besties who met at Columbia University
- Pop culture, pilates, and movie lovers
- Social and fun but also like to go bed early when possible :)
- My flatmate Akhila works in tech as a software engineer and I worked in civil engineering as a technical writer

*There’s a possibility of being flexible with your lease takeover date, but we’ll prioritize those who are able to move in around Dec. 1
