Room available in lovely flat near Broadway Market

Hello! My flatmate is sadly returning home to Canada so I’m looking for a new flatmate for our lovely, relaxed home just a short walk from Broadway Market, London Fields, and Columbia Road Flower Market. I’ve lived in the area for nearly three years and think it’s one of the best spots in the city so hope to find someone that will enjoy it just as much.

The room is bright and furnished with a double bed, cupboards, a coat rack, and small drawers, with additional shared storage space for suitcases, etc. The flat has a nice, sunny shared kitchen-living-dining room where we often chat, cook, watch TV, and occasionally host friends. We’ve also got a little balcony which is great in the summer time, and the building itself has some outdoor gardens/benches and an incredibly friendly atmosphere (with possibly the best porters you could ever ask for).

I’m looking for someone who would see the flat as a calm, friendly home where we could spend some time together but also feel free do our own things outside of the flat. It is not a party home but fine for some low-key hosting. I work full time so would ideally be looking for someone who also has a similar schedule with at least some days in office. No couples or pets, please, and preferably no smokers.

You’d be living with me, Hannah, a 30 year old from Canada - works in global health, loves cooking/baking and trying new restaurants, travelling, and spending time with friends. I value a calm, respectful, tidy, friendly space and hope that the new flatmate will feel similarly.

Flat specifics:
- Room will be available from January 1, with some flexibility in dates if requested
- 2 bedroom furnished flat with open plan, tv, and balcony
- Rent is 900/month + bills
- Bills roughly average out 160ish/month (it varies with lower rates in the summer, higher in the winter time due to heating costs)
