Double room available (Hackney Downs)

Double room available from late December 2025/early January 2026 until end of August 2026 (with potential to extend for another year).

Bills are additional and usually around £123 for electricity, gas, broadband, council tax. Council tax band C.

This is a south-facing room with a large double-glazed sash window that gets early morning and all-day sunlight. The room is on the smaller side but fits a double-bed, wardrobe and small set of drawers (room comes furnished but the bed can be removed if preferred). There is additional storage in the house/loft. Not ideal for full-time WFH as there is not space for a desk in the bedroom, but fine for some WFH in living room from kitchen table. Bathroom has a shower over bath.

Two existing flatmates - both women in their early 30s, both working professionals (medicine and arts). Keen for a great fit in our little home!

We all enjoy our work and our lives outside of work: keeping active, enjoying music, art, theatre etc., travel and hobbies. We have a great home-y vibe in our flat, and love time together at home as well as our own separate friend groups. Occasional gatherings at the flat, dinner parties and fires in the backyard.

We love living here! I am really going to miss this spot.
- The street is quiet (one-way) and really beautiful with trees
- Super close access to Hackney Downs station (2min walk)
- Great amenities nearby (yoga, sauna, supermarkets/shops, dry-cleaners etc.)
- Great access to both London Fields and Hackney Downs parks
- Private garden and balcony, with BBQ and fire pit
