1 bedroom available for rent in January 2026

Hi all,

My housemate is sadly moving out due to her job so there is a room going long term (1 year+) from 25/01/2026, which is when the new tenancy begins.

It’s a lovely 3-bedroom flat on Hackney Road, making it in an ideal location in the heart of all the East London/ London Fields/ Shoreditch action.

You will be living with me, a 26 year-old working as a design manager near Old Street, and Maisie who’s also 26 working as a trainee lawyer in the city. We are quite chill as a housemates - we love to hang out and go out for drinks every now and then, but equally have our own separate lives and sometimes like to spend time alone.

The room is massive and comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. There is one bathroom shared between the three of us and a massive terrace that is a sun trap and ideal for the sunny summer months!

Rent is £1050 and bills come to about £90 per month (heating is included in the rent which is a massive perk in the winter time!!)

The ideal housemate would be a working professional woman(no couples!) in her mid-late twenties who is respectful, considerate and clean, and earns at least 30k in order to pass reference checks. You’d also need to be able to begin the referencing process asap (deposit is £1016.67), and ready to move in and pay rent on the 25th of January .
