Description
Hello!
I'm looking for a housemate for 3-4 months from 1st March while my current lodger is away. It's a lovely three bedroom flat with gorgeous views directly overlooking Hackney Downs park.
It has three bedrooms, so there's loads of space for two people. The third bedroom is used as a study / guest room - meaning there's separate space if you need to study, work from home, or have a friend stay over for a night or two.
The bedroom itself is a bright and cosy south-facing double furnished with a double bed and large wardrobe.
Ideally, I'm looking for an LGBTQ+ person or ally who wants a home rather than just a room. I'm friendly, relaxed and considerate with a busy work and social life but when I'm home it would be great to have someone who is up for occasionally eating together and hanging out. I work at the office three days a week meaning I'll be out most of the day on those days.
It’s not a party house, but having friends over for a cuppa or to watch a movie is encouraged! If you like going dancing, for runs or yoga, or helping me with the crossword even better.
The flat is in a lovely, peaceful estate (a 1930s LCC housing block if you're into architecture) and there's a strong sense of community. High ceilings, big sitting room with dining area, sunny and well equipped kitchen, separate bathroom and loo. There is secure bike parking available too.
Hackney Downs park couldn't be closer for walks and there are loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Hackney Downs station (Weaver line and National Rail) is a five minute walk and Hackney Central (Mildmay line) is a ten minute walk. A direct, quiet cycle route to central London is right outside too.
Bills aren't included but usually come out around £150-200 per month.
