Bright double room by Hackney Central

Hello!


I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in a 2 bed, 1 bath terrace flat right by Hackney Central station. It’s a super convenient spot (seconds from the station, variety of supermarkets, restaurants etc.), and naturally comes with the buzz of living centrally.


The place is bright, spacious, and has a separate kitchen and living room. My friend and I have lived here for a year and really made it our own, but as they move on, I'm looking for someone to bring their own touch.
 The bedroom has a juliette balcony which lets in loads of light. It comes with a double bed and bedside table, but it'll be otherwise clear so you can sort your own setup and make the space yours. There is also extra storage in the living room if you need it.

I keep things fairly structured during the week (work/gym), but weekends are more varied and social. I occasionally have people over and you are of course welcome to do the same! That said, the vibe is definitely more pre-drinks and dinner parties than afters. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is independent and has their own life in London, but is open to chatting and hanging out if the vibe is right.

To save us both time, please reply with a little context about yourself. Specifically: what’s keeping you busy at the moment? I’d be interested to hear what you do for work, but also what you are passionate about outside of the 9 to 5.

Just a heads up, this is a formal let via the landlord and Letssafe, so please only message if you can pass standard agency checks (ID, employer/landlord references, last 3 months' payslips, credit check). You’ll need to earn at least 2.5x the annual rent share to pass the affordability check, or have a guarantor.



- Bills are approx. £180 pcm - includes water, gas, electricity, internet, council tax (band C) and a cleaner every two weeks.
- Single occupancy and professionals only (sorry, no pets).


The room is available 1st of March and i’m arranging viewings starting Thursday 5th of February.
