We have a very large room available in a bright duplex apartment in the heart of Hackney Central. The room is on the top floor of a three-bedroom flat and offers an unusually generous 27.5 m² of space (5.77 m × 4.77 m) — ideal for someone who wants more than just a bedroom.

The size makes it perfect for creating your own layout, whether that’s a sleeping area, seating space, and a work-from-home setup. It would suit either a professional who values space or a couple looking for a comfortable, flexible room.

The Apartment

A large duplex with a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, great for cooking, relaxing, and entertaining. The shared space includes two sofas (one very large), a six-seat dining table, and plenty of character with mid-century furniture, artwork, and lots of plants.

Although the flat has three bedrooms, one is used as a home office, which keeps the living environment quieter and more spacious.

The flat gets excellent natural light, with sun on one side in the morning and the other side in the evening.

Bills are not included. We have Council tax, Gas, Electric, water and Internet that are approx £100 - £150 per month depending if its split between 3 or 4.

The Room

We dressed the room to show the size and potential but the room itself is unfurnished, giving you the opportunity to design and furnish it exactly how you like and make it your own space. 
It has enough room to have a large double bed, couch with TV and a desk and work space.

The flat is in an excellent location close to green space and transport:

• Around 10 minutes to Hackney Downs railway station

Local Area

We’re also lucky to have plenty of great local pubs and a wide range of restaurants nearby, making the area lively and easy to enjoy. Broadway Market is about a 15-minute walk away and hosts a popular food market every Saturday and Sunday, with lots of independent stalls, cafés, and places to eat. We also have a local GYM over the road 4 mins away and the hackney picture house 4 mins to the side of us which are both handy to have.
