Bright double room available in a warm, characterful two-storey home with a big shared living room and garden.

The room itself is a solid size, with oak hardwood floors and lots of built-in storage across two separate cupboards — one shelved, one with a hanging rail. Plenty of space to make it your own.

You’d be sharing with me (George) and Sana (f) getting access to everything that makes this house genuinely great to live in: a well-stocked kitchen with gas hob, air fryer and all the kit you need; a cosy living room; a sunny dining area that opens directly onto the garden. You’d be sharing a bathroom with a bath and shower and great water pressure between two as Sana has an en-suite.

We have a very easy going vibe and are looking for someone to match that energy. Perfect for a young professional or postgrad who wants somewhere that feels relaxed, comfy and homely.

I’m 34 and work for the International Maritime Organization (wfo 3 days a week) and Sana is 33 and a child psychiatrist for the NHS (wfo 5 days a week).

We’re both very chatty and have plenty of kitchen chats but we mostly hang out independently but open to pub trips if you’re up for that!
