Cousy Double Room in Fab house

Our housemate & now friend is leaving after her studies to go back to Peru. So we are looking for a considerate, clean, fun, and dog /child/cat-loving person to come and live with us on a long-term basis.

The room on offer is a small but bright double-room with an amazing garden view in a friendly and busy household. The room is fully furnished and newly decorated – with lots of hanging space, chest of drawers, folding desk and double bed.

We live in a beautiful victorian house that comes with a large kitchen [we enjoy cooking, so foodies very welcome] & mature peaceful garden with decking, sofa, BBQ etc. Newly refurbished bathroom with roll-top bath and huge shower and an open plan lounge and dining room and with extra storage to share plus we have a loft/office-space that can double-up as a guest room or chill room if you have visitors or /and lounge is busy.

Homerton is a cool area our house is round the corner from Chatsworth Road (with shops, cafes and restaurants), lots of green space with new outdoor gym, Hackney marshes, and Victoria Park up the road. Homerton overground station is 10 minute walk away, there are several bus routes going north and east into central London.

Living in the house is myself, Adam a writer, freelancer & life guard/Swim teacher , Edita who is dog trainer and owner of dog training centre & our daughter Maja 7 years old who is lot of fun & makes friends with all of our housemates really easily, resident boxer Gonzo and Diesel the cat.
We host lots of overnight (mostly) well-behaved dog visitors, so to live with us you absolutely have to be a dog lover and be open to the idea of having a smart and sassy little girl around.

If you are looking for a home, not just a house, and you like hanging out with dogs maybe fancy extra income occasionally dog sitting – do give us a call, come round for a tour and a cup of tea. We are active but chilled people who like chat, dinner but also respect everyone else space. Creative folk, foodies, gardeners, dog professionals & social entrepreneurs we would love to hear from you. We have been renting our room for over 10 years and we are friends still with all of our housemates.

£950 pcm — including some bills.
