Cosy room in a bright warehouse flat

We have a lovely double room with lots of character available in our warehouse flat in Hackney Wick.

We've got a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room and a huge outside terrace for BBQ's and hanging out in the sun. The room has two skylight windows and comes with a mattress, chest of drawers and shelves but the landlord will get in any extra furniture you need (bedframe etc) at no extra cost to you. It's a very cute room, but it's quite small so although there is storage space (in the room and all around the flat) it's worth bearing that in mind!

You will be joining the three of us currently in the house; a costume designer working in film, a primary school teacher and a theatre producer. We're a mostly queer household and we'd love to live with another queer person, though it's absolutely not an essential requirement if you're good vibes! We also have two very friendly and cute cats, Franklin and Theo. We all get along well and we're looking for someone who is up for making the place their home!

The warehouse is a stone's throw from Hackney Wick station where you can get the overground to Highbury and Islington or Stratford for central London and there are many bus routes within a 5 minute walk of the flat. There's also a little Sainsbury's two minutes away which is very handy!

In terms of the neighbourhood, Hackney Wick has its fair share of coffee shops, community spaces, restaurants, bars, venues and breweries as well as its own theatre (so lots of fun to be had!) Best of all, we're only a few minutes walk from Victoria Park, the Olympic Park and the canals so there's plenty of nature nearby.

The room is available now and we’re hoping to fill the room relatively quickly.
