Small room in Hackey Wick creative warehouse.

A small and affordable room is available for ideally long-term rent in a warehouse unit in the Hackey Wick creative community.

We are looking for an open, relaxed and sociable person to join our community space. We welcome all genders & orientations.

There are currently 2 of us (+ you) sharing the warehouse, and there are other warehouse live/work units within the same building. Everyone is very friendly and sociable.

We have a lovely bar downstairs that hosts events throughout the week and access to a communal terrace on the canal side.

It is for one person. It has a low ceiling, as it is on the mezzanine level, and a small window into the main space. The room has a mattress, bedside table, and other furniture (left by our previous flat m8). It just got a fresh coat of paint. Feel free to decorate or paint your room as you like to express yourself! If you have your own furniture, this is okay, too. We also have a communal storage area for bigger items.

As this is a warehouse, the walls are thin, and sound does travel. If you are easily disturbed by noise, a pair of earplugs does the trick, but please bear this in mind when considering this space.

We prefer someone with experience or a basic idea of how to live in a creative warehouse.
