I'm going to be moving out of my lovely house in Hackney Wick to move in with my partner and need someone to replace me!
The room is on the second floor at the front of the house. There is a main road nearby but I have never found it an issue and I am sensitive to noise! The room comes with a bed, mattress, chest of drawers and bedside table. It's quite a big space that gets the sun all day.
There's a shared kitchen/living room, a downstairs toilet and a bathroom on the second floor right next to the available bedroom. We have a back garden which is really a gem in this part of London.
The house is only a 7 minute walk from Hackney Wick station and has a bus stop right outside. Victoria Park is also just a couple of minutes walk away, there's a Sainsbury's local by the train station and plenty of corner shops, cafes and pubs in the area.
Staying in the house are Adam (31, he/him) who is a fashion lecturer from Derry, Alice (26 she/they) a chef and Katrina (28 she/her) a fashion consultant from New Zealand. They're a friendly bunch who get on well and hang out together but also all enjoy their own time and there's never any pressure to socialise. Some of our favourite spots are the joys of Dalston Superstore, our local Lord Napier or our living room.
Including bills the room comes to about £875 per month. However, rent will be increasing in September possibly by another £100 pm.
Looking for someone to move in weekend of 24th May or atleast start rent payments then.
