Description
A double bedroom in Hackney Wick available from 2nd May.
It’s a 3-bedroom flat with a kitchen and one bathroom (no living room). I’ve lived here for a few years, and although the flat is on the smaller side, it’s never felt crowded as everyone has quite busy schedules.
You’ll be sharing with two guys, Pier and Adam, both in their early 30s, easygoing and always up for a pint or a meal together.
The flat is a 5-minute walk from Hackney Wick station, and the Hackney Community Sauna Baths are right across the street—perfect for early sauna sessions.
The room comes with a bed, an IKEA unit (without baskets), and I’ll leave the clothes rails. Everything else will be going. When I first moved in, the room was unfurnished, and the landlord provided a new bed frame and mattress, and the rest I brought myself.
The landlord is very easygoing and doesn’t mind if you want to personalise the room, like I did.
To pass referencing, you’ll need to be in full-time employment. Ideally no full-time WFH due to the size of the flat, although I’ve worked from home a couple of days a week without issues. Sorry, no students.
Rent is £660 per month, with bills not included (they usually come to around £120 extra per month). A great price for the location. Council tax band C.
