Apartment:

Modern apartment block on regents canal. Includes concierge 5 days a week. Apartment is bright with large windows in the dining/living area, and has a balcony. It's the perfect summer location. The apartment is furnished.

Room:

The room is 5m x 2.5m, has a tall window, and should fit a double bed and desk comfortably (see picture). For reference the current desk in the picture is fairly large at 125cm x 86cm. The room will come unfurnished, but has an inbuilt wardrobe, as well as a double mattress if required. Everything else in the room (including desk) will go. There is no bed frame. The rest of the apartment is furnished.

Location:

The apartment is in a great location. It is directly across the road from Haggerston park. It is also <10 mins walk to Broadway Markets, London Fields and Columbia road, and a short jog down to Victoria park. There are loads of great bars, pubs and restaurants around to explore, as well as gyms and outdoor/indoor pools great for summer.

Transport:

The area is well connected:
- Haggerston overground station is < 10 mins walk, and connects to the Victoria line at Highbury & Islington, the Elizabeth line and district lines at Whitechapel and the Jubilee line at Canada water.
- Key bus services on Kingsland rd and Hackney rd <5 min walk
- Three Santander cycle bays within 100m and there are always plenty of lime bikes around

Who you’re living with:

Just me. I'm a 32 year old male from Australia, working in professional services. I'll be in the office 2-3 days a week usually.

I’m generally a pretty social person, but do most of it outside of the home. Sometimes I’ll have a few friends over for dinner and a few drinks on a weekend, but never too late.
I'm looking for someone who is generally tidy, happy to socialise, but also happy to do their own thing. Someone who loves a good time, but is also respectful.

Looking for:

Someone in a similar situation with similar expectations.

- The apartment block is pretty secure and has a concierge on weekdays.
