Small double bedroom going in 3 bed flat in Haggerston, available from Monday 11th January (some flexibility on move in date if needed earlier)

About the flat:

The flat is a three-bed, first-floor flat on Laburnum Street, situated along the canal. It is a 10 minute walk from Haggerston Overground and approx 10-20 mins walk from other stations inc. Hoxton, Liverpool St and Bethnal Green.

There is a shared living area with two sofas, TV and dining table, with a separate kitchen coming off.

About the room:

The room is the smallest of the three in the flat. It comes furnished with a bed, clothes rail and box storage unit. As one of the other rooms has an en-suite you would be sharing the main bathroom with just one other flatmate.

The rent is £740 per month, which includes a cleaner who comes fortnightly. We take it in turns to do a flat clean on the week the cleaner doesn’t come to help keep the space nice for everyone.

Bills are roughly an additional £100 each per month, which covers: Gas/Electric, Wifi, Water and Council Tax.

About the flatmates:

I'm Kate, 31, working as a civil servant mon - fri (from home 2 days a week and in the office the other 3). I like to spend my spare time attending spin classes, socialising with friends and out enjoying all of the lovely things London has to offer!

I'm Kerry, 30, working as a data analyst mon - fri (from home 4 days a week and in the office 1). I have been in the flat 3 years since moving from Essex. I enjoy going out for meals, drinks in the pub and walking or cycling around Hackney.

What we are looking for:

We like to keep the flat nice and clean. We are not a party house but we do enjoy chatting in the kitchen and having friends over here and there. Overall, we have a friendly and calm atmosphere and are looking for someone who will respect the environment we have here.

Please note, the room itself is small and given there is no space for additional furniture or a workspace, it would be ideally suited to someone who is quite minimalist and whose job is out of the house. No couples or pets please.
