Looking for a friendly, clean, considerate gal to join our home in Haggerston, as sadly our housemate Eve is moving back to Australia after 6 years in London!
In terms of the current flatmates, we are three gals between the ages of 27 - 31, two Aussies (Hannah & Jodie) and our token Brit (Kate). We are into all the usual fun things like pub trips, reality tv, markets, cooking, walking/running along the canal / or around three close parks (Victoria Park, London Fields and Haggerston).
We all work full time and would like the new housemate to do the same, preferably not from home.
Historically we all tend to come and go and keep a good mix of having our own lives but like to come together when the timing works and all get along well as friends!
The room is a great one, lovely wooden floors, three wardrobes and a private BALCONY! The room comes furnished. You will share the upstairs bathroom with one other and the full downstairs bathroom with everyone. We have a cleaner that comes fortnightly to keep everything nice and tidy.
Location couldn’t be better. We are a couple min from Regents Canal, 10 min up the canal one way to the trendy Towpath Cafe, 10 min the other way to Broadway Market. We are also 10 away from Columbia Road market. Dalston is not far up Kingsland Road and in the opposite direction we are not far from Hoxton and Shoreditch. Countless pubs, cafes and shops in walking distance!
We’ve got a fantastic private garden, a bigger communal garden, well equipped kitchen and cosy living room with big ol tv.
Rent is £1225 plus bills which are usually £100. The lease is locked in until June 2027, so no increases anytime soon! Move in date is 28 November.
Kim is our agent is super friendly and responsive at sorting out any issues or transfers. You don’t have to stay until the end of the tenancy but a min stay of a year would be preferred so there isn’t too much movement in the house. You will need to go on the lease and be able to pay the deposit of £1150. You will also need to have a full time job to pass referencing checks.
Honestly it is such a special home with girls that really care about each other and make an effort to keep it nice, tidy and relaxing environment. We would like to keep the girly vibes so women preferred please.
