Lovely Double Room in Central Hammersmith

We are looking for a social new house mate to fill our soon-to-be vacant room in central Hammersmith. The room is available from the middle of July (with some flexibility).

There are currently 4 of us in the house in our mid to late 20s working in retail / music / university administration / poetry / film and TV art department.

Between us we enjoy: exploring new restaurants and bars in London, cinema trips, pub quizzes, watching football, gardening, going to gigs & festivals, mariokart, art galleries & museums, and poetry / literature events.

We are looking for a lovely new housemate for our first floor double room. We’re looking for someone who is clean, considerate and social. We often like to catch up of an evening after work over some food/wine and watch tv or a film. We want this to be much more of a home than individual rooms!

Please note we are an LGBTQ+ friendly house!

The house has a large bright lounge, a separate kitchen (with dishwasher & dining table), two bathrooms, great central heating (as well as double glazing throughout), plenty of storage and a garden which is ideal for BBQs in summer. The wifi is great and is reliable for working from home. We deal directly with the landlord (so no property management fees etc.), who is very responsive. 

We are a seven minute walk from four major tube lines (Piccadilly, District, Circle, and Hammersmith & City @ Hammersmith Station, and District & Piccadilly @ Barons Court Station) and several large supermarkets. The house is only a five minute walk from the Thames and lots of great pubs! 

Rent is £650 per month which includes council tax, TV licence and water. Bills on top (gas, electricity, wifi & weekly cleaner) are around £100 per month, so around £750 all in. The deposit is one month's rent.

The room is on the first floor and shares a bathroom with one other person. It has a double bed and chest of drawers, built in wardrobe and space for a desk.
