Looking for new flatmate

Hey,

We’re looking for a new flatmate to move in from January. The room is about 10 m² (cosy but practical) and the flat has a big living room, a spacious kitchen, and two bathrooms (about 40 m² of shared space). The building feels safe and has a lovely communal garden.

The room is free from January 1st, but if it helps, you could move in a bit earlier and stay in the living room temporarily. We’ll probably be away for the holidays, so we can sort something that works for everyone.

Right now, there are three of us. One is moving out at the end of December. The other is French, works at an AI company, loves climbing and rugby, and is thinking about starting a PhD. I’m doing a PhD in climate science at Imperial, vegetarian, and identify as LGBTQ. I like baking cakes and doing sports, mostly climbing, swimming, and hiking. I’m from Germany.

We have a pretty social flat life: we talk a lot, sometimes cook or go out together, and generally enjoy spending time around the living room table. Guests are welcome, as long as we stay respectful of each other’s space. We try to keep the shared rooms clean and follow our cleaning plan. We’re all night owls, so it can still be a bit lively in the kitchen before midnight.
