Description
Hello!
Two friendly guys, Thomas (32) and Harry (35), are in the market for a third flatmate to join us in our spacious and calm home in leafy Fulham.
Your new bedroom is the only bedroom to be situated on the first of three floors. It is bright and airy and comes equipped with a double bed, desk, side table and plenty of storage. Next to you is the living room and along the corridor is a bathroom you’ll share with one other as one of the bedrooms has an en suite. The kitchen/diner is humongous and overlooks a beautiful garden maintained by our neighbour downstairs.
Our own oasis is found on the second floor and a balcony/patio that is currently abloom with dahlias and sweet peas (apparently) … Thomas is the green fingered one, but even without possessing the gift I can confirm it looks very pretty!
Our tree-lined street is three minutes walk away from the river and great running/walking routes, and we’re two minutes away from a fantastic local pub. Hammersmith station (circle, district, hammersmith and city, piccadilly, and the world) is about a 15-minute walk away.
There’s a Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose nearby, along with several gyms and the tranquil Fulham Palace Gardens. Craven Cottage – the home of the mighty Fulham F. C. – is about seven minutes away (but because of our location we’re unaffected by matchdays). Riverside Studios is also just along the river - a personal favourite, it is a bar/cinema/restaurant/theatre/great work spot!
A bit about us ... we are both guilty of that SpareRoom cliché of enjoying spending time together but also appreciating our own space. Alongside the day job in high-end retail, Thomas is a gifted bespoke tailor, and alongside my day job in Corporate PR, I threaten to be a writer. While we're open to hybrid workers, some balance would be great so we can maintain the feeling of a home.
Rent is £950 plus bills which come to about £150. Your tenancy will start the beginning of September, but you may be able to move in in August with the rent split agreed with the departing housemate.
Our current beloved housemate is moving to his native Netherlands for work, and as a seasoned SpareRoomer and the latest entrant to the flat I can say I really love living here. We’re looking for someone who also wants a home – as opposed to an anonymous, transient flatshare – we’re allergic to drama and are looking for someone who is calm, kind, and respectful.
If this sounds like you, please get in touch with a bit about yourself.
Look forward to hearing from you! 😊
