Description
Gorgeous double room in beautiful Queens Club Gardens flat available! 🌻
*We will be doing in person viewings on Wednesday 16th October and potentially Monday 21st too! So please only get in touch if you are available to look and have a chat with the current flatmates then!*
🏡 The Flat
Although it's the smallest room in the flat, it's definitely not a box room! It's a lovely size, and comes with a desk (just no chair unfortunately!) It also has a lovely cast iron fireplace and the bed, wardrobe and chair is included.
There's a large kitchen with an island which is perfect for socialising, as well as a living room (which I think is rare in London to have two separate spaces!) And although there isn't a TV in the photo, there is now one in the front room too.
There are 2 bathrooms which is great and is shared between all 3 tenants.
There is a private gardens just outside the flat, where your key has a fob for access to it which is so lovely to have for picnics in summer and it never gets too buys. There is also 2x tennis courts which are free for residents to use, you just need to book it out prior to use. (Also when the Queens tennis tournament rolls around you can get free resident tickets too!)
📍 Location
Situated in Queens Club Gardens, the area is beautiful and very safe. As a gal who worked nights, I never felt unsafe walking around here or coming home late at night.
Flat is about a 10min walk to both Barons Court and West Kensington, then about 15mins to West Brompton, so perfect for those looking to get into central London! I used to work in Piccadilly Circus and it only took me about 30mins to get in every day which was dreamy! There is a Tesco express and a Waitrose about 10-15min walk away, a Gails by Barons Court, and a large Tesco about a 25min walk away too. It's also about 25min-30min walk to Hammersmith where there's plenty of shops including an ikea.
💃 The Flatmates
You'll be living with two girls between 25 and 30, both are professionals who each do WFH 2-3 days a week and then in the office for the other days. Both girls are so lovely and chatty and are always up for making plans like getting dinner out or having some M&S picky bits and a glass of red!
👉 Other info
There is a deposit plus and additional £50 fee to change the name on the tenancy as it is a rolling contract. So after 6 months it's very flexible to leave, as long as you find someone to take over your name on the lease.
There is a affordability requirement, which is 2.5x your rent share (for ref, I was accepted on a £31K salary) However there are options to pay 6months up front if you don't meet that.
