My flatmate Lucy has decided it’s time to leave London and explore the world 🌍, so I’m looking for a new flatmate to share our bright, cosy mezzanine flat between Hampstead and West Hampstead.
The room & flat:
• Bright double room with plenty of natural light
• Fully furnished: bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelves (plus extra storage if needed)
• Mezzanine flat in a well-maintained multi-flat house on Finchley Road
• Upstairs space used as a home office, guest bedroom and laundry room
• Rent: ~£1130 pcm, plus bills (approx. £180/month)
• Official move-in date: 6th March (flexible end of Feb / early March 2026)
• Referencing handled by an agency, otherwise we are in direct contact with a very responsive landlord
• Non-smoker
• LGBTQ+ friendly
Location & transport:
• Around 10 mins walk to Finchley Road station (Jubilee & Metropolitan lines)
• Around 10 mins walk to Hampstead station (Northern line)
• 5 mins to Overground (Windrush line)
• Bus stop directly outside with easy access into central London
• 5 mins to West Hampstead high street
• Supermarkets, cafés and great local spots all nearby
About me:
I’m 28 and work as an ESG Analyst. I love running, reading, baking, brunch, discovering new restaurants and a checky wine & cheese night. I work from home 1–2 days a week, so the flat has a nice balance between being social and having space. I’d love the flat to feel like a comfortable, relaxed home rather than just a place to sleep.
Who I’m looking for:
I’m looking for a female professional of a similar age preferably, someone wanting to stay long-term, and who’s keen on making this flat a cosy home. Someone friendly, considerate, and ideally not working from home every day.
The flat is best suited to someone who enjoys a clean, relaxed, respectful home with a good balance of social time and personal space. It’s not a party flat, but we do enjoy hosting chilled dinners, wine or film nights.
