Homeshare Opportunity

This unique, new Homeshare opportunity is perfect for you if you are a) a big dog lover and b) mostly working or studying from home and would like a safe, quiet place to live for at least one year c) you love cooking for others, particularly simple fresh, healthy meals and d) you are looking to live close to a huge, open green space with London on your doorstep.

In return for this amazing living set up, you will be helping our lovely active family with some dog sitting and dog walking, occasional meal prep, some practical help around the home, as well as providing a reassuring level of security when the homeowners are travelling.

What the Opportunity Involves:

In return for the fabulous low-cost accommodation (£199 per month), we are looking to match our Homeowners with a mature, responsible and friendly sharer who is happy to provide some help by taking two dogs (a gentle Pyrenean Mountain therapy dog, and a playful Pug) for a walk daily midweek, and occasionally on weekends (45-60 mins in the morning), and with some light household tasks, such as online grocery shopping, putting things away, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, local errands, receiving deliveries, and some cooking.

Our homeowners are an engaging and active couple in their 60’s, semi-retired but busy with work commitments and travel. Their adult children visit on a regular basis and occasionally stay over.

They are keen to share their home with someone who loves dogs who is happy to walk them and feed them. They would also welcome someone who loves cooking and would enjoy making a few nutritious simple healthy meals on a couple of midweek evenings. They are often out and about or working on individual projects at home and meal prep would be very helpful and appreciated, as would managing online food shopping orders and other light household tasks.

Our homeowner’s preference is to share with a reliable, easy going and kind female sharer who has experience of living with or looking after dogs; someone who is perhaps studying or working full time or part-time from home and will therefore often be around during the day. Their home life can sometimes be very busy, and the ideal sharer will be someone who thrives in this friendly informal environment and is equally happy to spend the evening in their own space.

This opportunity would suit someone who is looking for accommodation for at least 12-24 months.
