Large Double Rooms in Old Hanwell

Two rooms - a spacious double room and a small single room - available in Hanwell, Ealing, in our lovely family house. Spotless pocket sprung mattress, lots of storage, antiques, art and chintz curtains make it a unique space, the antidote to boring landlord beige! It has a work desk and chair.

A second single room is available upstairs overlooking the garden. It has a full sized bunk bed with a storage area under, bookshelves, two sets of drawers, a small work desk and a walk-in wardrobe with hanging space. This is a small room, so you’d have to be ok with that!

Both rooms will have shared use of our well equipped kitchen, a bathroom and loo and the sitting room. We have a cottage garden full of trees and a pond, with a seating area for eating in on summer days.

I am an interior designer and painter and have used colour, antiques and art to make the house a welcoming and homely place to be. Our last lodger said the place had a Wes Anderson vibe!

We like to have friendly and easygoing lodgers, happy to chat around the table sometimes, share food on occasion. We 100% respect your privacy too. We are two women, my 18 year old daughter and I. I am happy to give you security, though make it easy to leave if you need to. I don’t have lots of rules, but encourage you to make this your home.

Amazing transport links to Central London, The Elizabeth Line, Piccadilly and Central / District. Door to door in 45-60 mins.

We have a small friendly dog called Betty.
