FFS PLEASE READ 👇🏻

Hi!
I’m Sara. I’m currently looking for a new roommate to join me in my 2 bedroom flat.

Room and Flat🛏️🏠:
I am subletting the double room depicted above as I can’t afford the flat on my own anymore. 🥲
I can provide furnishings such as a nightstand, a lamp, a desk and a chair if you’d like, and as you’ve surely already seen there is a ginormous built-in wardrobe (please note that the boiler also lives there). There is however, no bed. I repeat, NO BED!🚨
You are welcome to paint and decorate the room to your tastes.
The flat is set on the ground floor of a building with 5 other flats, 2 per floor. I have lived here for nearly a decade. Lovely neighbours. Good vibes.
More than fully equipped kitchen (inc microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher). No TV. The garden and patio are shared with the rest of the building.

Pets🐈‍⬛:
I have a rescue tuxie, Lt Starbuck. You can see her in one of the kitchen photos. She is, of course, equal parts annoying and adorable.

Bills💸😭:
All Bills are included in the listed rent price.
(Property Band C)

Location🛒🏋️🌳🚇:
High street is just down the street (2-3 mins walk).
24hr Gym, Tesco, Iceland, Superdrug, Holland&Barrett, cafes, pubs, fresh food markets and 24hr international supermarket all 5-10 mins away. For an emergency grocery run there’s two corner shops 1 min away.
Roundwood Park is a 10 min walk. Another Gym with a swimming pool a further 10 from there.

7 mins walk to Harlesden Station (Bakerloo Line & Overground) and 15-20 mins walk to Willesden Junction and Neasden Station (Jubilee Line).
Buses directly to Westfield Shopping Centre, Wembley Stadium, Ikea, Hammersmith, Baker Street, Euston all 3 mins away from door. Night bus to and from Trafalgar Square also 3 mins away.

About myself😙:
I’m an actor, writer and visual artist with a couple of day jobs, so my schedule is quite up in the air and varies week to week. One week I’ll be working mostly from home, then the next mostly out.
I’m a bibliophile, cinephile and PC gamer. I’m into a variety of sports. Also into art, music, food&drink, fashion, and design. A nerd, jock, artist little hybrid.
This is a LGBTQIA+🌈, neurodivergent♾️ household. I am an omnivore. I am a nightowl. I will sing in the shower.
I have Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions and a considerable DVD + TV boxset & book collections, and also some games, so there will be plenty of stuff with which to break the ice. You are welcome to borrow any and all, of course.

✨The ideal flatmate✨:
I would be especially interested in people also working in the entertainment/creative arts industry or at least an enthusiast, or people who are also part of the fandom/geek community, or someone who shares at least one passion in common with me. It is however not a requirement. The goal is to become friendly and comfortable, not merely tolerable, because I can’t and won’t live like that.

Cleaning up after yourself in our shared areas that should remain clean for hygienic + mutual respect purposes is my most relevant request. For instance, please don’t leave a chunky Jackson Pollock in the mirror and/or sink every time you brush your teeth. If you’ve accidentally created an apocalyptic landscape on the kitchen surfaces and/or appliances, please make sure you Restore The Balance or at least give me a Red Alert before I make use of them. Rogue mugs and other such general clutter and disarray around the house is perfectly acceptable (It is likely I will do this, in fact), as long as they never come close to Nightmare Hoarder’s Nest Level. Normal Human Nest Level is the threshold in this here dwelling, I’m afraid.
A weekly deeper clean, sharing storage space, and other aspects of living together are absolutely something we will discuss and mutually agree on.
As this is a two bedroom flat, communication and connection will be of even more importance than on a flat with more people - where there are more personalities and mediators - if we are to share it and make a home of it, successfully and together.

If you have further questions you may shoot them my way. Same for setting up a viewing.
If you’ve made it this far, then 1) thank you, 2) if you like the room/flat and are OK or fit with everything I’ve laid out your chances are good, because most people won’t and I’m able to tell, like, immediately. 🙂
