Description

We are looking for a new housemates to join our friendly Harringay house share! Move-in date is the end of August. There are currently five of us and you will be our lucky number 6!

If the below sounds ideal, please message us, saying a bit about yourself. We will be arranging in person viewings soon, so let us know your availability in your message. We’re also happy to go for an introductory pint ahead of the move-in too!

THE HOUSE
Tardis-like house with lots of space. Downstairs has a living room, back room-come-gym-come-laundry room, dining room and kitchen. Kitchen opens onto the back garden which is great for summer BBQs and then slightly neglected in winter.

On the first floor are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom, plus separate toilet.

The house has recently undergone a loft conversion, so there are also two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. The communal spaces were re-painted, and double-glazed windows fitted and new blinds installed last year.

This available room is on the first floor. Your room comes furnished but the estate agent can be flexible and remove items you may not want. It currently has a double bed, and a chest of drawers.

THE LOCATION
Situated off Green Lanes, home to the best Turkish food in London. There are good pubs in either direction and multiple cafes/bars scattered around the high street.
Large Sainsbury's five minutes walk away and multiple 24-hour off-licenses even closer.

Spoiled for transport:
5-10 mins walk to Manor House (Piccadilly line, one stop to Finsbury Park and the Victoria Line)
5-10 mins walk to Harringay station (to Moorgate)
4 mins walk to Harringay Green Lanes overground
2 mins to bus stop (buses to Waterloo, London Bridge and Trafalgar Square)
Most importantly, 5 minutes walk to 24-hour McDonalds, perfectly situated for an end of night snack.

THE PEOPLE
The house consists of Alex (she/her), Coleman (he/him), Nicole (she/her), Nina (she/her) and Al (she/they). One actor/performer, one video producer, one social worker, one publishing professional and a projectionist.

We are a social house and LGBTQIA+/ queer friendly house. We enjoy hanging out together in the kitchen while making dinner, having an impromptu glass of wine and host a pretty damn good BBQ. But we’re also happy to have our own space if needed!

YOU
We’re looking for someone who can slot into all of the above, who is clean, considerate and is a dab hand in the garden (although the gardening isn't a dealbreaker!)
