Bright and cosy double in Harringay ladder

Hey! We're Eva, Charlotte and Todd, living in Harringay just off Green Lanes looking for someone to join our home for a bit :)

As our lovely flatmate Lena will be leaving us to do her fieldwork far away we are looking for someone to temporarily join our lovey home.

The people:
We’re a chill household with a great vibe that we’re keen to preserve. Todd is a PhD student looking for a way to bring down evil monopolies, Charlotte is a bubbly ethnomusicologist (yes, the type they make fun of in Inside Out 2) and Eva is an engineer by day and soon-to-be pro climber by night. We keep up with each other’s lives (usually via chats in the kitchen while cooking), occasionally do stuff together (you’re welcome to join us for our lido swims or go climbing!), but also give each other the space to be with ourselves. We keep our house clean and are keen to find somebody who has the same mindset.

The place:
It's a lovely bright double room with a huge window looking into our beautiful garden. The room comes with: a double bed; a desk and chair; loads of clever storage including a wardrobe with drawers, space for hanging clothes, and also shoes; lots of shelving; and plenty of extra storage space under the bed. Unfortunately, as the bathrooms are upstairs, the house is not fully accessible. Another plus is that we have quite helpful landladies who take care of things very quickly when something is wrong or broken.

Otherwise the house is a spacious, bright late-Victorian terrace, set on a quiet residential road just a 2-minute walk from Green Lanes and all its amazing grocers and Turkish restaurants. We're also just a short walk to Finsbury Park and Turnpike Lane, with Stoke Newington, Muswell Hill, Crouch End, and Wood Green all in walking distance as well.

The house has a large kitchen/diner, a separate lounge, bathroom with power shower and bath, separate toilet with sink, and a lovely garden with plenty of space for bike storage.

Sublet Terms:
Lena will be gone from March until the end of September and we are looking for someone who could stay with us the entire time. We are keen to have one longer-term sublet rather than shorter ones as this really is a home more than a flatshare to us and we are keen to keep this homey feeling.

The technical bits:
Rent - approx. £710
Deposit - approx. £719 (this is 1/4 of 5 weeks rent on the whole house: the rent for this room is lower than the others as it's the smallest in the house, but we split the deposit equally)
Bills (water, electricity, gas, internet) - around £75 each per month (although this will fluctuate by season)

Viewings will be held start of February (date to be confirmed)
Graduate students are preferred.
Two of us are vegan, the other is not - we're welcoming of everybody.
