A room has become available in our homey warehouse on Overbury road.
The room is a decent double size, located on the ground floor. It is for single occupancy only (sorry, no couples). It comes mostly unfurnished and you are free to paint/decorate it however you like. As is the downfall with many warehouses this room does not have an external window although it has a window opening up into the living area so it does get some natural light.
Rent is an amazing £570 a month excluding bills (they usually come to around 100pm including everything). We also do a monthly kitty of £15 that goes towards cleaning supplies and general stuff for the house.
The warehouse itself has 9 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large fully stocked kitchen, open plan dining/sitting room with a massive projector and another large area in the back of the house with a piano, workspace area and bike storage space.
We have a lot of plants and over the years have tried to make the place as nice and homey as possible. Many housemates have been here for 6+ years so we are ideally looking for someone considering a longer term let and wanting to become part of the household.
We have a very friendly cat called Panda who is the queen of the house so a cat lover is a must.
Most housemates work 9-5 jobs, some from home so during the week the house is very quiet and chilled. We usually all do our own thing but we like to have the occasional house dinner. We are not your typical party warehouse, strictly no “seshes”, it’s very much a more homey vibe.
The area is very well connected. Walking distance to Manor House, Seven Sisters and Stamford Hill stations. It also has a great sense of community with lots to do and get involved with.
We are looking for someone friendly, tidy and respectful who’s happy to pitch in around the house and ideally has some experience with communal living. If you think you’d be a good fit get in touch with a bit about yourself.
We will be holding viewings over the next couple of weeks and will aim to see as many suitable people as possible.
Move in date will be mid December with some flexibility for the right person.
