Description
Hello! We have a delightful garden access double room available in our terraced house on the Harringay ladder, so we are looking for a new flatmate to join the crew. Please note, we have a well behaved small/medium DOG. If you do not like dogs, then this room will not be for you :)
The room is on the ground floor, is fully furnished with a double bed and mattress, a wardrobe, 2 book shelves and desk (slightly bigger than the one in the photo). You can step straight out of your double glazed door into our well-loved and mature garden.
We have 2 bathrooms (one on each floor), a spacious living area (separate from the kitchen) and a beautiful garden that we use a lot in the summer (with plants, herbs, BBQs, swing chair…) From springtime onwards we tend to treat it more like our outdoor living room.
We are four young professionals, from the UK and Australia. We are an LGBT-friendly, easy going and open-minded bunch. We are looking for someone who is sociable, engaging and likes to take the initiative to do things, someone to have a drink with, cook a meal with or simply have a laugh with. We care about the people we live with and also the space we live in. We like the idea of having a home, and not a flat share, where people live under one roof as total strangers. However, we like our privacy too, so don't worry, won't expect you to be interacting in the house 24/7!
We all do our part to respect the space we live in: we like the common areas to be kept neat and clean at all times, and we expect everyone to do their part on a weekly basis! You would not be expected to do any practical care for our dog (except the odd cuddle) as two of our housemates are responsible for her. She has access to the communal spaces but not your room.
Monthly bills are between £120 - £150, meaning you'd spend around £570 a month between rent, bills and council tax (band E).
*Room will be vacant and ready to move into from 11th November*
*Looking for long term rental - no short stays please*
*Working Professionals preferred please*
A deposit of £430 is to be paid when you agree to move in. No agency involvement - which is how we are able to keep the rent so low.
If you are interested and you fit our criteria please get in touch and make sure you tell us a bit about yourself (age, occupation, interests, etc) and we will get back to you to arrange an initial video call as soon as we can.
See you soon, future flatmate!
