We have a room available in our three bed, 2 bath flat available from Jan 10th in a modern build development in N15 - message if you’re interested!
Location: Green lanes is our fav part of London (biased!) - the nicest cheapest Turkish bakeries, restaurants, brunch places in all of London! The salisbury (ranked in the top 50 pubs in London) is a 2 min walk away.
The flat is 10 min walk from Turnpike Lane station (piccadilly) or Harringay Green Lanes (overground). Harringay/Hornsey train station is 15 min walk away. Nearest bus stop (N29/29/141) is one min walk away. The area is wonderful for shopping, in close proximity to Morrisons, Primark, etc in Wood Green or the Harringay arena with the gym group, tk maxx, a huge Sainsbury’s/aldi. Can reach Finsbury Park in 10min, KX in 20min, and Holborn in 30min via cycle/tube/bus.
The house/room: Incredibly spacious room in a 3 bed, 2 bath. The room has two bed side tables, double bed, and a built in wardrobe. More than enough space to have a WFH desk space. You have your own ensuite bathroom! The flat is so cozy - we have a separate shoe/storage room, washing room, and cleaning supplies closet!) and the living room/kitchen is so spacious. We also have a patio/balcony! The development is under two years old with multiple other buildings in the complex, all requiring their own fobs to enter. There’s a shared courtyard in the middle of the development with secure cycling facilities (such a life saver honestly).
Rent: 1150+bills. This might increase slightly but we’re negotiating hard with the property manager currently! Bills are usually 150-170pp, including octopus electricity, insite heating and hot water, thames water, hyperoptic wifi, and haringey council tax (band E). Deposit is five weeks’ rent. The tenancy would begin from 10 Jan for one year, but you’re welcome to move in anytime from the 6th.
Accessibility: The flat is on the ground floor, with no steps to enter the building or the flat. There’s also an intercom to let guests in.
The housemates: Srishti (23F) finished her law conversion course at University of Law and will be starting work as a paralegal in the few weeks. Originally from Manchester and moved down to London a year ago! Srishti enjoys baking, sports, and going to museums :)
Manasi (24F) is an economist in the civil service. She enjoys travelling, cycling, trying new foods, and (doesn’t stop) talking about how much she loves her f45 studio in Finsbury Park! :) She works from home 1-2 days a week.
We’ve lived together for a year already and are keen to continue living in this flat because it’s such a great flat in a great location. We do hang out together often in and outside the flat, and have met each other’s friends, so would love for someone to also join in. We also do respect that we have busy lives and require privacy during the week!
