Room for rent in a small warehouse

Hello there,

We have a room going in a small, cosy warehouse. We are 3 women in our early-late thirties and a young, male cat. Ideally looking for another woman in a similar age range.

The warehouse belongs in the Arena Design Centre which is a warehouse complex between Manor House & Haringey. It’s a vibrant community with lots of creative people from different backgrounds. It’s a great place to live as there is usually a lot going on in the area. It’s well connected, situated about 15mins walk from Manor House and Seven Sisters stations and there’s plenty of bus routes to central.

Our warehouse has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and living room and an outside space. There is plenty of communal space for us all to use but we do expect our housemates to be respectful of these spaces.

The room is a mezzanine room with lots of light and storage on the top floor. There is an opening skylight. The ceiling on the top floor is quite low on one side of the room as the roof slopes down.

We are looking for a person that loves cats (not just tolerates them), someone in their 30s who is respectful and considerate and who would like to be an active part of the house, not just treating it as a hotel. We would also like someone who is clean & tidy that doesn’t leave mess behind them. We make an effort to look after the house and keep communal spaces clean so we would appreciate the same from you. We are not a party house and we like it to be a peaceful space, but we do enjoy hanging out together - cooking dinners, having drinks at the weekend etc.

The room is £700 a month - this includes all bills, a fortnightly cleaner and toilet paper & blue roll. The deposit is one month’s rent and it’s on a rolling contract. The landlord accepts benefits. No pets or couples. The room is available now.
