Description
**Pictures pending, send me a message if you are interested but the photos aren't up yet and I'll send you some**
I have been living here for over 3 years now, and would stay a lot longer if I weren't leaving the country. The neighbors are quiet, the flat is in the middle of a street off the main road so traffic is inaudible, and public transportation is plentyful in the area.
Move in date can be between the 20th and 30th of February.
Area:
The room is in the apartment on the first floor on a quiet street just off the high road. About 5-7 min walk from Turnpike lane station (picadilly line) and about 1 min walk from a bus stop where the 141 and 29 (and night busses) can take you into central 24/7. There are two parks nearby, plenty of shops (Saintsburys, Tesco, Iceland, an ASDA opening soon, corner shops everywhere, restaurants down the road, and the wood green shopping mall, high road shops and gym up the road) all within walking distance. Honestly, this area has everything and more.
Flat and Flatmates:
Shared kitchen + living room combo, 2 of the bedrooms are on the same floor, the third is upstairs. The room advertized is next to the kitchen, and the personal bathroom is not attached to the room, but is next to it, which is a lot better. Room comes with a bed+frame and wardrobe, it has a window looking away from the street, and a radiator.
The flatmates, Tommy and Alan are genuinely nice people. Both of them work during the day, and quite a lot so don't expect to see too too much of them, but they are cool and pleasant to be around. Alan is English, Tommy is Hungarian, both speak english fluently, cook and clean the shared areas.
Costs:
Rent is 733.33 a month for the room, Deposit is 873, and bills add up to around 80/month. Very reasonable for a double bedroom + bathroom in London and one of the main reasons I'm sad to leave it behind.
Misc. amenties:
Electric stove, washing machine, radiators, crazy good vaccum cleaner, sofa, storage space in kitchen, fridge.
In summary:
A great, and well priced place to live. If you need more details or would like to arrange a viewing feel free to reach out. I work odd hours so it might take a day for a response if it's not instant.
