Room available in Harringay home

Double room available in Haringey house, just off Green Lanes - new contract starting 15th March:
- £650 pcm plus bills

We are Esther (37), Hannah (35) and Jamie (30). We work in Production, Brewing, & hospitality. We work hard so we’re looking for someone chilled and friendly, but we’re not really a party house.

The house:
Set over three floors, we have a lot of space. A big sitting room/dining room with doors onto the garden. A separate kitchen also opening onto the garden. The garden is large and has a lot of sun in the summer - great for planting flowers, veg and sunbathing! One shower/bathroom and one separate loo. It’s possible to get a resident's parking permit if you have a vehicle.

The Room
It’s on the 2nd floor at the front of the house. It has lovely light especially in the morning, spacious, quiet and has wooden floorboards. It’s a top box extension so it has slight eaves, but still has loads of space for furniture against the walls. (The bed & wardrobe in the pics are potentially up for sale.)

Location:
The location is great for being so close to a huge variety of food and drinks options on Green Lanes and West Green Rd, lovely parks, great pubs etc. We can get to the Wetlands, Stoke Newington or the Heath pretty quickly. We’re approx. 7 minute walk to Turnpike Lane station (Piccadilly line), 14 mins to Haringey Green Lanes (Overground), and 10 mins to Hornsey station. Also there are plenty of buses within a few minutes walk.

Availability:
The new tenancy will start on 15th March. Please note we’re not looking for a subletter. FYI if you aren’t in a permanent work contract you’d be required to have a guarantor.

Bills come to around £150 pcm on average, which includes the council tax (band E). But they do get higher in winter ofc.

This is definitely a home that we look after, keep clean and organised. We enjoy socialising together with a wine, cooking, playing music, as well as having our own space. We want to find a friendly, calm, kind and likeminded person to share our home with. We’re open to housemates of any profession, background, and are LGBTQIA+ friendly :)
