Description
Hi,
I'm Pádraig. My current roommate is moving out this October, so I’m looking for a new flatmate to take their place.
The apartment is in a lovely modern building with a spacious open-plan kitchen/living area (with very high ceilings!) on the second floor. Both bedrooms and the main bathroom are located on the floor below (pictured). There’s also space for a WFH/study setup with a desk in the living area.
Area
We’re literally a 30–40 second walk from Seven Sisters station, which has the Victoria line (King’s Cross in 8 mins, Oxford Circus in 13 mins) and the Overground (Liverpool Street in 19 mins). The neighbourhood is vibrant and diverse, home to Afro-Caribbean, Asian, Hispanic, and Eastern European communities, with plenty of food options to match. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local just 8 minutes away and a large Tesco about 12 minutes away, just to name a few. We’re also really lucky to have the Walthamstow Reservoirs about a 10-minute walk away — it’s an amazing spot for running, walks, or just spending time outdoors.
A little bit about me
I’m 23 (Thai/Irish) and have lived in the flat for the past three years. I work in financial services in the City and usually work from home two days a week. I grew up in London, studied here, and enjoy cooking, experimenting with cocktails, and playing different sports.
I’m looking for a housemate who is clean, tidy, and sociable. I enjoy socialising, trying new places to eat, and having shared house activities, but also appreciate having space to relax and unwind after long days.
The room
The room is bright with lots of natural light. There’s also a built-in wardrobe. The flat is cosy in winter and airy in summer. The room comes unfurnished, though there’s an option to buy the current furniture set from my flatmate.
Bills
Around £150 per month, covering water, wi-fi, council tax (Band D), electricity, and gas.
The room will be available from around 13th October onwards. We’d be signing a one-year lease with the landlord starting in October.
Please do message for more better photos/videos of the space and apartment. Will be uplodaing better photos shortly!
If you’re interested, feel free to drop me a message!
