Double Room in Harringay, North London

A double room has become available in my flat for a single occupant from 15th October. The room costs £950 per month, with an additional £150 per month to contribute towards bills (broadband/wifi, water, gas, electricity, council tax).

The Flat: It’s a two-bedroom split-level flat, and all the appliances and furniture were purchased new in 2022 when I bought the flat. A new bathroom was installed earlier this year. Your bedroom would be on the first floor, and mine on the second, so each bedroom has lots of privacy. The room has been recently redecorated, and it is south facing with lots of light. It is a spacious double bedroom with a large wardrobe and under-bed storage, and an Emma mattress.

The Area: The flat is located on Cranleigh Road in Harringay, and has great transport links to Central London via the Victoria and Piccadilly lines. The neighbours are very friendly, and there is a street party every year in the summer. Harringay Green Lanes is nearby, with lots of nice bars and cafes, and some amazing Turkish restaurants! There are many shops within walking distance, with a Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express situated a 2-minute walk away from the flat.

About Me: I’m 29 years old and have been working in the music industry for the last few years, now taking a new direction and studying to move into finance. I’m easygoing and enjoy going playing sports and going to the gym, going out for a drink with friends, and playing my keyboard. I treat the flat as a home, so I would like to find a flatmate who will also keep the space very clean and tidy.

My schedule: I’m an early riser during the week, so the flat is best suited to someone with a fairly similar routine. I work away from the flat Monday to Friday and on Sundays, so you’ll often have the place to yourself.
