Room for rent in Turnpike Lane

Hello!

Moving back home to NZ so my room five minutes walk from Turnpike Lane station is up for grabs (lucky you!)

The rent is £900 plus bills, so approximately £1073 including. You’d be living with one other girl in her late 20s, she’s from Essex, super lovely and I’m gutted to be leaving her, she’s so great - down for a yap, but also very willing to say she’s pooped from the day and needs to retreat which I love. Just a very easy flat vibe. You get your own bathroom (!) because Emilie has an en suite upstairs. On your floor is your room, your bathroom, the kitchen and lounge and then upstairs is just Emilie’s room.

Super close to Ally Pally, a ten minute walk to the Dusty Knuckle on Green Lanes, and two stops on the Piccadilly to Finsbury Park which makes it super connected. Turnpike Lane is also a bus interchange so a lot of options at your doorstep!

The room itself is as you can see in the video (and hopefully not me too much in my dressing gown and slippers) nice and big, lovely window and it comes furnished. It’s super sunny, sorry I took the video tonight but can take some pics in the morning. I’ve also got in the place of the couch bed in the lounge (which is huge) on the left of the pic, currently a desk, computer chair and monitor which I’d be happy to sell for cheap (make my life easier than selling it separately).

Looking for a female, late 20s-mid 30s, down for a drink and catch-up but also got their own thing going on. Tidy, can WFH part-time, as I mentioned I have a desk set-up in the lounge which is super nice, Emilie has a desk up in her room so when she works from home she’s up there. And must be a cat lover as Eric (pictured) has been summering with his grandparents in Essex but will likely be making his way home for the winter.

Tenancy has just been renewed until May next year but option will be there to extend if you wish. Looking to conduct viewings this Friday, and the room itself is available from the 12th November, with the 20th of November being the latest move in date. All of the formal stuff in terms of referencing etc is done through a local property agency, so you’ll need to be able to provide proof of income, past landlord references etc.
