Description
Our lovely housemate is moving out, so we're looking for a new person to rent that room in our very friendly 3-bedroom flat in N15!
Students and professionals welcome. LGBTQ friendly, non-smoking flat.
The bills are currently around £135 and include council tax (band D), internet, water, gas, and electricity. The room is on the first floor and has a big window and lots of natural light.
It is rather small (6.8 sqm), but as you can see from the photos, it can fit everything you need. The current flatmate is happy to leave furniture behind but the room can come unfurnished if wanted. The rent for this is £650 per month, plus the bills.
About the flat:
We have a dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a utility room with a washer and a dryer, a small bathroom, and a separate toilet. We also have a little garden where we grow a few things and have wonderful BBQs in the summer. The flat has a loft for storage and a small shed!
Location:
2minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. About 15-20minutes from tube stations Manor House, Turnpike Lane, and Seven Sisters (Victoria and Piccadilly lines). About 15 minutes walk to Harringay Green Lanes overground.
2minutes walk to Chestnuts Park
We are on a very quiet street, but still very close to lots of restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets.
About us:
- Me (female, 31), German. I'm an interior designer and work full-time in the office. I love cooking, reading, cycling, tennis, and playing board games. Sociable and easy to live with.
- Connor (male, 30), British. He works partly from home and partly from uni, as he started a PhD last year. He's super friendly and outgoing and loves cycling, cooking, and travelling.
We get along very well. We love to play board games and hang out together, but we also enjoy doing our own things. We are both vegan and want our new flatmate to be vegan as well, so please only apply if that is the case.
We have a cleaning rota where we take turns every weekend. It works very well for us, so we'd like to keep that system! We are totally ok for you to have family, friends, or partners over, but it's not a party house, and we're looking for someone who's happy to keep it quiet, especially during the week. :)
There is some flexibility with the move-in date, so if you need to move in earlier or later, we can talk about it.
