An older lady is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would enjoy the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking around four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed and accompanying on some outings. There is a weekly cleaner and ad hoc gardener.

The accommodation on offer is a large double bedroom, and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is conveniently located in Haringey, just 12 minutes’ walk from Crouch Hill Station (London overground Suffragette Line) and just over a mile to Finsbury Park underground.

A retired lawyer, the lady reads the Guardian, enjoys walking and going out for meals, playing Scrabble, doing crosswords and watching TV. She doesn’t have a dog but her daughter’s Cavapoo visits so a dog lover is essential.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
