Double room in a friendly flat

Hello :)

Our flatmate is sadly moving out, so we’re looking for a friendly person to join our home.
The flat is near Finsbury Park. A 10 min walk from Manor House Station (Piccadilly line) and Harringay Green Lanes (Overground).

The room is available from October 11th, with some flexibility a few days either side.

About us:
I’m Sian (26) and I’m from Scotland, I enjoy getting out in nature doing some runs, cycles and swims, just sporty stuff in general. I also enjoy cooking, I’m mostly vegan (apart from eggs). I am a PhD student studying data visualisation and I go in to my lab about three days a week. I really like living in this area and flat, I enjoy the garden in the sunny weather and doing activities like cinema and dinner parties with my flatmates.

I’m Claire (28), I’m from Ireland, I love anything outdoors and active, reading, exploring London and a good dinner party. I cycle everywhere and am also veggie. I work as a nurse, mostly 9-5. I moved to the flat in July and find it a really homely place to live, the neighbours are friendly and I like the access to green space.

About you:
We’re looking for someone friendly and sociable, who would like to spend time as a flat (share a dinner here and there, join for Parkrun or a cinema trip) but also be respectful of each other’s space.

We are looking for a working professional who takes their part in keeping the flat clean and tidy. We can consider students if happy to pay the council tax as part of bills and have a UK guarantor. You will be added to the contract and will need to provide proof from employers, previous landlord reference if you have one, credit check, and a copy of passport and visa if required.

It’s a smoke-free flat.

About the flat:
-The flat is a top-floor flat with 3 bedrooms. -There is a shared kitchen with 2 fridge-freezers.
-There is one bathroom and a separate toilet shared for the flat.
-We have access to a shared garden with our downstairs neighbours that gets a lot of sun which has been really nice (we also have a hammock!).

-Bills are not included in the rent and come to around £150 pcm maximum (includes gas, electricity, water, council tax and WiFi) but this fluctuates between summer and winter.

About the room:
Large double bedroom. It has big windows, so gets lots of light. It has good storage and space for a large desk.

About the area:
-The flat is located 7 min walk from Finsbury Park.
-There is a big Sainsbury’s and Aldi within 6 min walk.
-There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants in the area.
-The west reservoir and castle climbing centre are a 6 min cycle away.
-It’s a green area, which we’ve really enjoyed while living here.

Transport:
10 min from Manor House Station (Piccadilly line). 24 min from Finsbury Park Station (Victoria Line). 8 min from Harringay Green Lanes (Overground).
