Large, light-filled room with en suite

The room offered is a large, light-filled room with an en suite bathroom. It includes a double bed, desk, shelves, lighting and lots and lots of storage space! The room is on the top floor of a three-storey modern townhouse.

The price includes all bills (including internet and council tax).
A cleaner comes once a fortnight (included in the price).

You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen and dining/living room and a lovely small garden. The house is kept very clean and in good repair so it can bring joy and peace of mind to everyone living in it.

You will be sharing with: a smiley single mum, who loves art, music and politics and a fifteen-year-old interested in history and manga, and a very sociable ginger cat. I work from home full time, love to meet people and can be quite chatty and curious but mindful of other people's space and time, tidy and respectful.

Ideally would love to share with a professional who is easy going, and treats others as they would like to be treated.

Location:

Located in zone 3, with excellent transport links. It’s a 10min walk to Turnpike Lane underground station (Piccadilly Line) and 15 min walk to Seven Sisters (Victoria Line). You can take a bus to either station, to get there in 5min. One hour straight from Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly line and you can take a 10min bus ride to Tottenham Hale where you can get the direct train to Stanstead Airport. King’s Cross is 25min away, Covent Garden and Leicester Square around 35min. There are bus stops for the 41, 67, and 230 a few metres away or you can walk to Green Lanes where you can get the 29, 141 and 341, into Central London or south of the Thames.
Cannot stress how well connected this area is, you can easily go to East London, Central London or anywhere in North London, or got to Heathrow or Stansted airport without hassle.

We have shops, cafes and restaurants at our doorstep (Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s and a local organic supermarket are only a few metres away), and there are more and more great places to eat, drink and take away food on West Green Road next to us, and it’s a 10 min walk from the popular Green Lanes where you can find more great restaurants, cafes and independent shops.

There are loads of beautiful parks within 5-10min walk, you can reach Downhills Park with its rose garden and tennis courts, or the award-winning Lordship Recreational Grounds with its beautiful walks, pond and community-run Hub café, and exercise machines and you can also find Chestnuts park with more tennis courts and its own café a few minutes away. Woodberry Downs, the Lea River and Finsbury Park are all quite accessible from here on public transport.
