Cosy Room in South Wimbledon

Hi guys,

I’ll be moving back to Aus in a few months so my room in South Wimbledon will be available from June 4.

About the room:
It’s a cosy, top floor room but comes furnished with a bed, cube storage and a desk (not pictured). I can also leave some other bits and pieces like bedding, shelves, prints etc that I will not need when I head back to Aus. There is lots of beautiful natural light and a suprisingly good amount of storage including under the eaves.

About the flat:
- three bedroom flat
- ⁠top floor apartment
- ⁠one ensuite room so sharing the bathroom with one other girl only
- ⁠huge bath
- ⁠well equipped kitchen
- ⁠washing machine

Housemates:
Living with two other girls in their early to mid 20s. One girl from London, one from Hong Kong.

The area:
- 10 minute walk to colliers wood station (Northern line)
- ⁠15-20 min walk or 5 min bus to wimbeldon (district line/SWR)
- ⁠bus station just by the house
- ⁠Haydons Road station with Thameslink 5 minute walk
- ⁠lots of lovely pubs with beer gardens and parks around to enjoy the sun over summer.

Bills:
- rent £700pcm
- ⁠bills ~ £150 through the winter but going down as the weather warms up
- bond £721

There is a slight catch - the apartment is up for sale, however, the landlord is required to give 4 months notice. You may be asked to accommodate property viewings but there hasn’t been a single viewing since I’ve lived here. The contract is a monthly rolling contract which worked for me as it provided more flexibility.
