Hello everybody,
My current flatmate is leaving so a large double room in my flat has become available for the coming year. The flat has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus a separate kitchen and a large living room and dining room area.
The area is very quiet and residential but is also very well connected. It is close to a park (Sunnyhill Park) and walking distance from shops and Middlesex University. The room is offered partly furnished (with a double bed and large closet storage). There is enough space left in the room to comfortably fit a desk/working area or additional drawers and storage.
The flat is also close to Mill Hill, where you can find nice coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies and charity shops. It is also a short bus ride away from Hendon Central Tube Station, Brent Cross Shopping Center and the Finchley area.
You will be living just with me. I am originally from Chile but have lived in the U. K. for the past 4 years. I work in law at a firm in the city and I go to the office 2-3 times a week (I WFH on Mondays and Fridays). I am sociable and like meeting people and enjoying what London has to offer, but do sometimes need quiet times to recharge. I am a fan of museums, theatre, cinema and languages, and will happily join any cultural activity ;). I am looking for someone who would fit that vibe and would be able to stay for a year (female preferred). I am also not a neat freak, but I would appreciate someone who would also take care of the flat with me, just so the space is enjoyable for both of us.
The room will be available from February 1st, 2026, and viewings will be carried out from January 23rd on. The deposit amounts to GBP 900 and the room is offered ex-bills which are detailed below.
Approx. Monthly Bills (to be divided by 2 every month)
Energy - GBP 65 (Summer) / GBP 95 (Winter)
Internet/Wifi - GBP 26
Council Tax (2025/2026) - GBP 170
Water - GBP 35
Cleaning Lady (once a month) - GBP 40
Common items (toilette paper/washing up liquid/kitchen towel/cleaning items) - GBP 10

The closest bus stop is 3 minutes away.
10 minutes by bus to Mill Hill Broadway.
10 minutes by bus to Hendon Central station (Northern Line)
10 minutes by bus to Brent Cross Shopping Centre
15 minutes walking to Colindale station (Northern Line)
